In 2021, Paris Immersive Art Festival held an immersive experience at the Atelier des Lumières (and at the Bassins des Lumières, Bordeaux) curated by Nohlab called EVERYTHING. It was an immersive narrative that ‘observed everything as it is’ and ‘questioned all existence and suggested new possibilities.
Alex Le Guillou worked on a segment for the EVERYTHING project, which dealt with perceptions of reality. Alex used MIDI controllers to experiment with visuals in real-time, and then record the ones he liked the most as keyframes. Once satisfied, he exported the visuals as video using NotchLC and composited everything together using UV-mapping specific to the projection space. All the way through the project Alex used Notch for his visuals, as it allowed for more spontaneity in his designs.
