GAZZELLE AT SAN SIRO STADIUM 2025

GATE1 Studio used large-scale interactivity and real-time effects to create an immersive visual design for Gazzelle's tour finale.

In June 2025, GATE1 Studio led the creative work behind the screen visuals at Milano’s historic San Siro Stadium for Gazzelle’s tour finale. Blending large-scale interactivity and real-time effects with storytelling, the team designed the show as a capstone to the artist’s entire career up to that point.

The GATE1 team set out to build a world that could evolve alongside the music, performance, and—most of all—the artist’s narrative arc. The team aimed to drop the audience into the centre of the story and feel exactly what Gazzelle felt in each moment rather than simply assuming the role of spectator. With live camera feeds, motion tracking, and audio-reactive elements, the team crafted visuals that aligned with each emotional beat, avoiding easy tropes and deliberately plotting out every second.

As Notch Designer Lorenzo Venturini recounts, “Among so many other things, previz with Notch 1.0 was essential in communicating ideas to the artist's team and aligning everyone before the show. It allowed us to endlessly test, simulate the look from various audience positions in the stadium, and rapidly iterate ideas during production.”

They based the core of their vision on manipulating camera feeds with surreal effects. With off-the-cuff adjustments driving much of the creativity and keeping things unpredictable and fresh, the team used Notch’s Virtual Background feature extensively, isolating and enhancing each performer while knowing everything would be aesthetically cohesive even in certain moments with added creative risk and visual intrigue.

One of the main challenges of this show was ensuring camera feeds felt part of the visual blueprint—not just functional live shots. Using Notch 1.0, we were able to filter, process, and visually augment live feeds in real time, aligning them with the show's artistic direction and keeping the audience immersed and invested even when what was onscreen evolved.
