INFRAMES collaborated with creative agency The Hanging House to produce content for a highly anticipated “Go Epic” launch event, which introduced the 2025 Nissan Kicks. Taking cues from the agency’s well-defined and direct vision, which combined live music, dance, and animation, INFRAMES began by fleshing out a detailed storyboard before quickly moving into production.
Starting in Cinema 4D, the creative team crafted 3D assets, which they then transferred to Notch 1.0 for 3D animation. The 2D aesthetic of Nissan’s overall campaign proved challenging to integrate into the 3D work smoothly, but by combining a 2D toon shader effect with Notch’s collection of video effects, they could attain a desirable look while meeting the client’s tight deadline.
