AYMO’S ARENA TOUR 2026

STUDIO/ and Mångata Collective created AYMO’s cyberpunk metropolis from the ground up for a monumental arena tour of Germany.

For Aymen and Amo’s joint tour as AYMO, the team of cross-disciplinary designers at STUDIO/ worked with production design studio, Mångata Collective, to turn their cyberpunk aspirations into a full-fledged metropolis.

The artists’ brief took Berlin’s gritty backstreets and Mångata Collective’s architecture-forward stage design as their starting point. They set out to build 52 fully realised 3D worlds, each with a unique visual and emotional identity, immersive enough to pull the audience inside AYMO's world rather than leave them watching from the outside.

STUDIO/ chose Notch for its ability to handle scale without buckling under pressure, generating that range of distinct looks on a demanding timeframe while staying responsive to Mångata’s multi-surface stage design. They stacked post-effects to create the glitchy, maximalist looks required for the duo’s aesthetic and narrative. With Notch’s Virtual Background feature, they could separate the performers from even the heaviest distortion, keeping them distinct without disconnecting them from the world around them.

With a multi-camera setup, they could apply different treatments to each artist simultaneously, preserving their identities within the same designed environment.

Notch gave us a solution that was lightweight enough not to tax the system while being versatile enough to generate that many dynamic looks within a demanding timeframe.
Alex Vipond, Video Designer, STUDIO/

As Video Designer Alex Vipond explains, “Notch made the whole process so fluid and really gave us the distinction we needed.” The holographic camera treatment stood out as a particular highlight: “There were points in the show with the anamorphic content where, using Notch, we brought the cameras into the content in a way that felt hologram-like, as if the performer existed within the world we’d built.”

It's the most songs STUDIO/ has built for a single artist to date, a new level of complexity that pushed the team to think differently about storytelling and world-building across the show.
